In an effort to support families and provide children opportunities social and physical activities, we will now offer a modified version of our popular Summer Camp, aligning with the Ministry of Health’s guidelines, for the month of August. As group sizes will be much smaller and there are room capacities in place to support physical distancing, the number of spaces available this summer will be significantly reduced.

Update Policy July 25:  Please Refer to : Parent Handbook

Although summer day camps are exempted from WDG Public Health Unit Class 22 Order, campers will be required to wear a mask indoors for certain activities that do not allow physical or social distancing.

A face covering can be a mask, scarf, bandana, other cloth covering or non-surgical paper mask as long as it covers your camper’s nose and mouth.

Programming has been designed to reduce the need for face coverings, but some situations will require one.

Original Answer:

Campers are not required to wear a face mask while at camp as per Dufferin-Wellington Health Unit Face Covering Class Order

Parents are encouraged to discuss with their children the importance of social distancing when possible and the need to keep all campers and staff safe.

Summer Camp will allow small groups of kids to enjoy fun and creative physically-distanced sports, games and crafts this summer, with activities held outdoors whenever possible.

Activities include:

  • Daily Themes ( i.e. Amazing Race Day, Super Hero Day, Wacky Hair Day, Outdoor Adventure Day etc.)
  • Tennis Lesson/Games- 2-3 hours per week depending on the child's age
  • Kids Fitness Activities
