All Pickleball and Racquets members of HRC get access to UNLIMITED weekly pickleball social play times. Joining social plays is a great way to meet new players, participate in fun matches and work on your pickleball techquine!
Registration into our pickelball social play times can be done through the HRC app or by visiting our Front Desk. Members simply enrol into the timeslot they wish to attend and then come ready to play! If members are unable to make a session they have enrolled into, they can just unregister (NO need to find a sub).
HRC's social plays allow for great flexibility and ease, so all members need to do is register into the timeslots that work best for them!
Registartion opens 7 days prior to social play time slot.
All necessary equipment will be provided for weekly lessons.

This session is specific for our junior members, and non members aged 7+! The program will teach the basics of pickleball through interactive and stimulating games, activities and match play. This is the perfect session to introdce the growing sport of pickleball to children in a fun and welcoming enviornment!
Skill Level - Beginner
Whether you have just heard about pickleball or just played it a couple of times, this is the best way for you to ensure that your game is getting off on the right foot. This program will introduce, reinforce and improve your understanding of pickleball concepts, strokes, and strategies. The goal of this program will be to ensure that you are comfortable with all aspects of the game, and able to participate in a gameplay environment.
Skill Level - Early Intermediate (2.5 - 3.0)
If you have been playing for a year or 10 years, if you are looking to take that next step in your game, then Intermediate+ is for you. This is the next step in our pickleball programming. This program session will build upon the concepts, skills, and strategies that were introduced in our beginnner session or that you have acquired through your pickleball experience. The goal of this program is to help you recognize your potential and focus on improving the quality of the strokes/shot that you are already executing.
Practice Pickelball is the perfect program for intermediate+ players who are looking to practice along side Pickleball Pros! This hour long session will review various tips and tricks to enhance pickleball game play.

Skill Level: New/Beginner
Heard about Pickleball? Want to give it a try? Check out our introduction to pickleball which is a great way to introduce the basics of this amazing game in a fun, friendly environment.
In this session, players will learn the basics of Pickleball, how to score, serve, and return a serve. Participants will leave with an understanding of the basic strategies and skills of pickleball, and will learn all they need to know in order to get started playing the fastest growing sport in North America!
All necessary equipment will be provided. This is a fun and safe way to get started with pickleball!
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner
Participated in an introduction to pickleball class and are ready for more? Want to gain confidence in your skills before playing a game? This session is designed for players who are looking for an additional opportunity to work on their skills and confidence before entering into open gameplay. Equipment will be provided.

Skill Level: Intermediate & Advanced
This 2-hour clinic will provide instructional drills and play time, to develop participants into 4.0 players!
Skill Level – Advanced Beginner
The non-volley zone (NVZ), commonly referred to as the kitchen, is a critical area on the pickleball court that requires finesse, strategy, and quick reflexes. For advanced beginners, learning to play the NVZ line effectively can significantly enhance your game and take you to the next level. This 1.5-hour session will be focused on building your confidence, control, and consistency with the play at or near the NVZ through drill based learning and mini game play action. (2.75 – 3.0 rating)
Skill Level – Intermediate
In this 1.5 hour clinic lesson you will learn how to confidently move on the court as you defend, attack and gain control of the game. Our instructors will focus on three major movements - defending the lob, protecting the middle and transitioning to the NVZ - that every pickleball player must master in order to elevate their game. (3.25+ rating)
Skill Level – Intermediate
This 1.5 hour clinic lesson is ideal for intermediate players who want to become great doubles partners on the court! We recommend you register with a partner but it’s not required. By focusing on drills that require each partner to perform their role, you’ll learn the importance of patience, positioning, and synchronization with your partner. Effective communication and understanding your role with each position on the court will also be covered ending with mentored game play to test out your new doubles strategies. (3.25+ rating)
Skill Level - Intermediate
The 3rd shot -drive or drop - is one of the most important shots to master in pickleball. This clinic will focus on improving the quality and consistency of your 3rd shots as well as understanding the strategy around how and why it’s so important. You’ll be put through a series of drills & drill-based games meant to help you improve your performance when attempting this difficult but strategically important shot. Final 20 minutes will be spent in game play action helping you to put this new skill to winning success. (3.0 - 3.5)
