Emily Bourgeois

Emily has been a Fitness and Yoga instructor since 2016. She began her fitness journey in the CrossFit world. “I will be forever grateful for that introduction to lifting. For the first time in my life using a barbell, and heavy weights. That is a gift that changed so much, especially as a woman.”

Emily expanded her knowledge of Olympic lifting with a Coaching program Project Lift. Plus a Coaching Certification Course with The Canadian Weightlifting Federation.

Shortly after becoming CrossFit Level 1 Certified Emily began exploring yoga. Yoga transformed Emily’s life and has become her passion. Emily is a trauma informed 200 RYT. Emily is always expanding her knowledge of fitness and yoga. With a certification in Plates, Yoga Nidra, Ayurveda and ongoing study to achieve her 500 RYT training with a focus on Somatic Yoga. Emily’s goal is to eventually become a Yoga Therapist.

Emily loves to challenge the body, the mind, and the heart. Mobility is just as important as strength.
