Yoga has been a part of Kristen’s life for over 25 years, and her practice has helped her to become more confident, calm, flexible and stronger both on and off the mat.
Kristen has suffered debilitating anxiety and depression her entire life and truly believes in the power of yoga.
“Yoga changed my life, and I just want every child and adult to have that same opportunity to experience the beauty and magic of it”.
Kristen received her Children’s yoga teaching certification through “Flow & Grow Kids yoga”, and hasn’t looked back since. She teaches yoga in schools, studios, private lessons, camps, preschools, girl guides, and more. From there she has also received her 200hr YTT certification and is working towards completing her additional 300hr.
Her true love has always been Vinyasa and Power yoga. “I love a powerful class! It has always helped with my anxiety from a young age. There is no better way to thank your body than allowing it to move!”.
“But with that being said, Restorative and Gentle flows have been one of the most important for me to fall in love with. It has taken me years to appreciate the practice of really slowing down and tuning into my body and my mind. It has quickly grown into a true passion and one of my favourite classes to teach.”
Her most special time is spent with her two boys (Ben and Luke) and her incredible husband and their Bernedoodle Bauer. They remind her daily of the importance of play, connection, and love.
